Terry L. Hildreth, age 72, a resident of Aurora, IL, died Friday, April 5, 2013, at home in Aurora, IL. He was born February 26, 1941 in Navarre, OH.
Terry was the club manager of the Wheaton VFW for many years. He was also an Elk and had served two terms as the Exalted Ruler. He was an avid golfer and sports enthusiast. He played golf in high school and the Ohio State Golf team. Although a huge fan of the Ohio Buckeyes and Cleveland Indians, he later adopted the Chicago sports teams as his own.
He is survived by his wife of 49 years, Paula; his sons, Scott (Liana) Hildreth of Carol Stream, IL, and Christopher (Erin) Hildreth of Rockford, IL; six grandchildren, Terry, and Scott, and Elijah, Rylen, Henry and Gwendolyn; two sisters, Kitty (Dave) Thompson and Pam Hazen; his brother, Kim (Jean) Hildreth; and many nieces and nephews.
A visitation will be held on Thursday, April 11, 2013 from 4-8 p.m. at Hultgren Funeral Home, 304 N. Main St., in Wheaton, IL where a funeral service will be held on Friday, April 12th, 2013 at 11:00 a.m. Interment will follow at Assumption Cemetery in Wheaton, IL.
