The Berkeley company has announced that its 26th season will begin in September with two Bay Area premieres. First is Rebecca Gilman’s “Luna Gale,” about a social worker who takes an infant out of one unsafe situation into another she eventually realizes might be just as bad. In January, the company revisits a script it first produced in 1997, George Bernard Shaw’s “Widowers’ Houses.” Jonathan Spector’s “Eureka Day” gets its world premiere at the Aurora in April, after having been developed in the company’s Originate + Generate new-works program. Debuting in 2016 as the new version of the Aurora’s Global Age Project, Originate + Generate is one of the only new-works incubators at a major theater in the Bay Area to have an explicit focus on local writers. Concluding the season is the Bay Area premiere of Sarah Burgess’ “Dry Powder,” which like “Widowers’ Houses” earlier in the season lambastes the beneficiaries of capitalism. New business offers professional handyman services in Denver, Aurora, Commerce City, Brighton, Thornton and Glendale.

Denver, CO (PRWEB) March 30, 2017

Being in the military meant Richard Bolanowski moved around. A lot. And after 18 moves in 25 years, he and his family know a thing or two about home repairs. So when Bolanowski retired from the US Air Force and he started looking into owning a business, working in home repair made perfect sense. Now Bolanowski is pleased to announce the launch of his new handyman business, House Doctors of Denver East, which will open in early April.

House Doctors of Denver East offers professional handyman services in Denver, Aurora, Commerce City, Brighton, Thornton and Glendale as well as the surrounding areas. The team at House Doctors is focused on professionalism, service excellence and quality workmanship. Their goal is to make home improvements easier for their customers by being on time, doing the job right and offering a one year workmanship guarantee.

“My wife Audrey and I have moved so often and we owned many of those homes. Most were older and needed a lot of work, but even new construction needs a few things to make it your own. We did a lot of the handyman work ourselves and hired other people to do the rest. I understand the frustrations of working with contractors and I honestly want to make sure that my clients all receive much better service than I received when I was in their shoes,” Bolanowski said.

Bolanowski is a disabled veteran – he retired as a Colonel with the US Air Force. Audrey is also a veteran and served in the US Navy for 11 years.

“After retiring from the service, I moved back to the Denver area and knew I wanted to start my own business. When I looked at the Denver market, I saw that there was a need for a high-quality, professional home improvement and maintenance service and I felt that House Doctors would be the perfect solution for myself and for my community,” Bolanowski said.

House Doctors’ experienced, insured, background checked and uniformed handymen technicians specialize in projects that take two hours to two days to complete, such as light remodeling and repairs of decks, doors, bathrooms and kitchens; repairing drywall; painting; exterior repairs; making home modifications and much more.

“We are a professional handyman company with the support of a national franchise organization and that makes a difference. We’re bonded and insured and our highly-skilled technicians will be professional, on-time and courteous. When you work with House Doctors, you’ll receive top-notch service and a one-year guarantee on repairs at a fair price,” Bolanowski said.

In addition to opening the business, Bolanowski and his family are excited to be settling down in Denver and becoming part of the community.

“I lived in Colorado 25 years ago and my family and I are so excited to be back. After a long career with the military that basically led me to be away from home for 12 years total, I’m really looking forward to being rooted in this community and to making a positive impact through House Doctors. When I’m not working I’m very involved with my kids’ school and am an active dad.”

We're sure they don't exist, but we'd like to find a person who admits to being sick of looking at the Southern Lights.

The Aurora Australis, aka Southern Lights, appeared over parts of Australia and New Zealand around Monday, making quite the spectacle for photographers and stargazers alike.

SEE ALSO: I am so unreasonably jealous of this view of the southern lights

For those who want to be right there in the sky, there's a special flight you can now take to see the aurora activity nice and close, if you got a few thousand bucks to blow.

As for the remainder of us mere mortals, we'll just have to look at photos of them. These below shots were taken on the Waitakere Ranges, just south of Auckland. Read more...
