Patch Oswego, IL --Carol M. Pierce, age 90, of North Aurora, IL died Saaturday, April 6, 2013 at her residence. She was born September 13, 1922 in Aurora, IL the daughter of the late James K and Stella F nee Hettrick Campbell.
She was a member of the First Presbyterian Church, active at the Prisco Center, former member of the Turners Club and Ladies of the Moose Lodge #400 all in Aurora, IL. She was a former part owner/operator of Valley Green Golf Course in North Aurora, IL. She had also worked as a secretary for many years at Plante’s Lawn Equipment in North Aurora, IL.
Carol is survived by her nephew/caregiver Ken (Sharon) Campbell of Sugar Grove, IL and several nieces and nephews. She was preceded in death by her husband Andrew “Bud” Pierce, twobrothers Dean K “Soup” and Wilbur Campbell.
Visitation will take place on Friday, April 12, 2013 from 9:30 AM until the funeral service at 11:30 AM at DUNN FAMILY FUNERAL HOME with CREMATORY 1801 Douglas Rd Oswego, IL. Private interment will take place at Mount Olivet Cemetery in Aurora, IL.
