Patch Montgomery, IL --Frederick W Duncan, Sr., 79 years, of Oswego, IL died Tuesday, March 12, 2013 at his residence surrounded by his loving family.
He was born March 8, 1934 in Aurora, IL the son of the late William J and Mildred W nee Wittmann Duncan.
He had been employed at Barber-Greene as a welder for seventeen years, a property caretaker for Augie Jensen in Oswego, IL, a bartender at Walker's and the Luxemburg Club and the Aurora Beacon-News where he retired from in 1994.
He enjoyed woodworking and for many years had a booth at Montgomery Fest. He enjoyed doing word search puzzles.
He is survived by his wife Connie K nee Green Duncan, whom he married on October 11, 1980 in Aurora, IL, six daughters Debra (Mike) Frieders of Montgomery, IL, Dana (Ray) Hankes of Mesquite, NV, Dawn Robinson of Aurora, IL, Samantha "Mandy" (Lloyd) Yelton, Sr of Aurora, IL, Bonnie (Justin) Cowans of Elkhorn, WI, Jill (Ronnie) Trimarco of Montgomery, IL, four sons Fred Duncan Jr of Sandwich, IL, John Duncan of Oswego, IL, Brian Duncan of Standish, MI, Tim (Christie) Duncan of Peoria, IL; seventeen grandchildren, twenty two great grandchildren, a sister Marilyn Risch, two nieces and one nephew. He was preceded in death by four grandchildren Frank Jackson, Jeremy Jackson, Christine nee Jackson Cross and Michael Duncan.
