Buks Tool Company, Inc. a Houston based, woman owned, state-of-the-art machine shop hosts top level executives from Mitutoyo Corporation for a facility tour.

Mitutoyo's Global President Toru Nakagawa visited with Buks Tool Company, Inc. on the morning of August 6th, 2014 for a tour of its facility and introduction to senior staff. Mr. Nakagawa was greeted by BTCI President Danielle Buks at BTCI's Houston machine shop located in Houston's Northwest Crossing Industrial Park.
Mr. Nakagawa was joined by Shigeyuki Sasaki, Mitutoyo's North American President, Matt Dye, US Vice President and other senior managers for Mitutoyo in the US. Mitutoyo was established in 1934 in Kawasaki, Japan and in 1963 established its US headquarters in Aurora, IL. Mitutoyo is world renowned for its precision tools, integrated computer-based metrology systems, and is the world's largest provider of measurement and inspection solutions. Mitutoyo established its Houston showroom in July of this year.
Mr. Nakagawa requested a tour of the Buks Tool Company facility during his current trip and reviewed BTCI's installation, integration and utilization of its various tools. Most recently BTCI purchased a cutting-edge coordinate measuring machine (CMM) from Mitutoyo as a core part of BTCI's expansion and development.
BTCI President Danielle Buks greeted Mitutoyo to the BTCI facility and shared the company's vision going forward which includes expanding the strong partnership between both companies. After exchanging gifts, Mitutoyo shared a presentation of its vision and the visit concluded with a tour of BTCI's 52,000 square foot state-of-the-art facility.
