AURORA, Colo. (AP) — Authorities are at the scene of a small plane crash southeast of Aurora. The Douglas County Sheriff's Office says the plane crashed near the Blackstone Country Club in an unincorporated part of the county at about 5 p.m. Wednesday. The crash sparked a small grass fire, but Aurora police say no structures appear to be in danger. A photo released by the Aurora Fire Department showed charred wreckage of what appears to be a twin-engine plane. It's unclear how many people were on board.
