All traffic on Aurora Avenue North was stopped shortly before 7 p.m. Thursday night after a three-car collision a few blocks north of the bridge. The collision occurred about 6:30 p.m. near Aurora and Bridge Way North, and one of the people involved was rushed to Harborview Medical Center with life-threatening injuries. Firefighters had to extricate that patient. Police did not have an estimated reopening time for both directions of Aurora Avenue North, which is also state Route 99.
