Patch Oswego, IL --Mary K. Spencer, age 66 years of Oswego, IL, died Thursday, February 7, 2013 at Central DuPage Hospital in Winfield, IL. She was born March 31, 2013 in Aurora, IL the daughter of the late William and Claudine nee Gillow Keller.
Mary was an x-ray technician, working in the Radiology Department of Central DuPage Hospital for over 40 years, member of Oswego Presbyterian Church, Morton Arboretum Society, American Association of Radiologic Technologist, was a lover of wildlife especially birds, badgers (including Wisconsin Badgers) and Bears (also Chicago Bears).
She is survived by her two sons, Jonathon Spencer and Lloyd Spencer III, sister Linda (Michael) Gorman of The Woodlands, TX, four sisters-in-law Vera (William) Murphy of Rock Rapids, IA, Dauna (Edward) Boone of Yorkville, Susan (Bobbie) Spencer of Yorkville, IL, Kathryn (Colin) Spencer of Oswego, IL and several loving nieces & nephews, loving friends, and fellow employees, her caregivers at CDH and her father-in-law Lloyd Spencer Sr. of Yorkville, IL.
She was preceded in death by her parents, mother-in-law Mildred Spencer, and her ex-husband Lloyd Spencer, Jr.
A memorial service will be announced at a later date at the convenience of the family. There will be no visitation. Memorials may be directed to either Make-A-Wish Foundation or Big Brothers-Big Sisters in Mary’s memory.
