Littman Bros Lighting has been waiting for Asia’s largest lighting fair to return and this October the Autumn Edition of the Hong Kong International Lighting Fair is coming back in full force, shedding a spotlight on green lighting.

This year’s 15th edition of the HKTDC Hong Kong International Lighting Fair (Autumn Edition) will be held October 27-30 at the Hong Kong Convention and Exhibition Centre; it is expected to draw close to 2,300 global exhibitors to showcase their latest designs in lighting.
According to hktdc.com, this event continues to gain popularity with both exhibitors and attendance each year, with “a record-breaking of nearly 2,300 exhibitors from more than 37 countries and regions at the 2012 event.” Last year’s Lighting Fair also attracted more than 36 thousand buyers.
This year at the fair one of the strongest market trends is focused on energy efficient lighting, creating and designing products that not only complies with environmental regulations but also gives consumers the ability to help the environment and be green. According to hktdc.com, a survey conducted at the HKTDC International Lighting Fair 2013 (Spring Edition), “a striking 96% of all respondents identified LED as the primary focus for the lighting industry in the years to come.”
The Hong Kong Fair is spaced out so attendees and buyers can effortlessly find the products from their category choice and source.
At the 2012 Hong Kong Fair, the LED & Green Lighting Zone featured more than 800 exhibitors and this year this section will be there again, which will exhibit a range of LED and eco-friendly lighting products including commercial lighting, residential lighting, advertising lighting and lighting for retail and architectural use.
In another section of the Hong Kong International Lighting Fair will be the Hall of Aurora, the fair’s brand section, which focuses on the most innovative and original designs and styles in lighting from premium lighting brands; more than 300 exhibitors from manufacturers such as EVERLIGHT, Neo-Neon, Philips, Fulham, EGLO, EVERLIGHT and Citizen, just to name a few.
According to hktdc.com, one of the prevailing trends seen throughout the years was for “small-sized orders with higher frequency and shorter delivery lead times in order to minimize inventory” – this is why the Small-Order Zone of the fair will return to showcase products solely meant for ordering in small quantities, accommodating, yet again, to the buyers who attend.
Some additional perks at the Autumn Edition in Hong Kong is the selection of seminars that will be offered to attendees on topics covering the latest market developments, technology innovation, regulatory updates and design trends, “which are highly informative and beneficial to industry players for strategic business planning.”
Votes will be taken and tallied to award products in three categories – Architectural/Commercial Lighting, Decorative Household Lighting and Outdoor Lighting. These products are submitted by exhibitors for the My Favorite Lighting Products Award 2013 and exhibitors will display their winning products at the fairground throughout the fair.
With so much to offer in innovation and technology within the lighting industry, it seems the Hong Kong International Lighting Fair (Autumn Edition) will be as successful as the last with record-breaking exhibitors and attendance. Reported by PRWeb 10 hours ago.
