Lakewood Ranch-based, new home builder, Neal Communities, launches celebratory campaign to commemorate its 9,000th home sale milestone.
Sarasota, Florida (PRWEB) July 22, 2013
Lakewood Ranch-based, new home builder, Neal Communities, is celebrating building 9,000 homes over a 40-year history in Southwest Florida.
“The milestones are coming more frequently, as we celebrate not only this 9,000th home, but also a record-breaking sales year so far,” said Pat Neal, president and CEO of Neal Communities.
Neal has marked record-breaking sales every month in 2013, recently surpassing 2011’s yearly sales total in June 2013.
To celebrate the 9,000th home milestone, the Neal team is sending out thousands of tree seedlings to homeowners, business partners in the community, and friends of the company.
“I am so thankful to our amazing team, our homeowners, and to our friends for helping us reach this momentous accomplishment. We hope people will share in our celebration of planting strong communities in Florida by planting these trees. Together, we can all continue to grow deep roots and forge bonds throughout the local and coastal community,” said Neal.
The first tree dedication in this campaign was held in celebration of the 9,000th homeowners, Dane and Stephanie Martinez. Neal team members company-wide gathered at the Martinez’s home in Woodbrook last week for the dedication.
“That’s a lot of homes!” said Stephanie Martinez. “We were really surprised and excited to be the 9,000th homeowners. We feel it’s an honor to be recognized by such an amazing organization,” she said.
Dane and Stephanie Martinez moved into their Neal home in March with their two-year-old daughter, Eva, and another daughter on the way. Dane Martinez is a Sarasota County Firefighter and Stephanie, who is due with their second baby on July 9, just graduated from USF Sarasota/Manatee with a teaching degree.
The couple found the Woodbrook neighborhood before they were in the market for a home, and visited the community weekly for six months before purchasing in 2012. “We completely fell in love with the neighborhood and the location. We knew no matter where we were going to buy, we wanted a Neal home.”
They dedicated the Neal tree, soon to be planted in their backyard, to their two children. “We’ll be in this neighborhood for a very long time. We’ll watch the kids grow with the tree. We just love it! We love the way the neighborhood is set up, the outside curb appeal of the homes, and the community amenities – it’s perfect for a family. We go for walks daily and we go to the park every night,” said Martinez.
The Neal team surprised the family with a $1,000 gift certificate to Target at the tree dedication event. The other tree seedlings will be given to staff and mailed out into the community in the weeks to come.
Neal Communities was named one of 2012's "America's Best Builders" by BUILDER Magazine. The company is ranked #1 locally by Metrostudy and by Hanley Wood Market Intelligence based on number of home sales and ranked #64 nationally among home builders by BUILDER Magazine. To date, Neal has built over 9,000 homes in Southwest Florida.
