Mile High Vet is having an educational and entertaining open house on June 15th from 1-5pm to benefit displaced pets as a result of the devastating tornadoes in Oklahoma.

Mile High Veterinary Hospital in Aurora is having an Open House this Saturday with food, fun and classes to benefit the homeless pets in Oklahoma. Just bring pet food or treats, washable toys, slip leads, collars or leashes for the homeless pets and participate in the family fun from 1-5pm on Saturday June 15th. Mile High Vet has planned fun for the kids including Teddy Bear Doctor and informative classes for adults including leash training and obedience training.

"Everybody is welcome to come to this free event, including their pets," says Dr. Waskow. "We really hope that we can do some good for the pets in Oklahoma." Mile High Vet is located in Aurora on E. Arapahoe Rd. Jamie Davis, the office manager at the newly built veterinary clinic has been tirelessly setting up this open house, "We'd like everyone to come out, meet our staff, have some food and fun, get some useful pet info, and help some pets that really need help in Oklahoma."
