“Brunchlesque! After Dark – The Flash Before the Bash” will offer a sneak preview of some of the world’s most highly acclaimed award-winning performers from around the world, including ‘21st Century Burlesque’ magazine’s #1 rated UK performer, Aurora Galore, and 2014's Miss Burlesque Gold Coast, Dolly Cakes from Brisbane, Australia, before they appear at the sold-out Burlesque Hall of Fame Weekend. Tickets on sale now through Brown Paper Tickets.

Las Vegas, NV (PRWEB) May 14, 2015

On the eve of the world's largest annual burlesque festival, The Burlesque Hall of Fame Weekend, “Brunchlesque! After Dark – The Flash Before the Bash,” will offer a sneak preview of some of the world’s most highly-acclaimed and award-winning performers, including the UK’s #1 ranked burlesque performer, Aurora Galore, and 2014's Miss Burlesque Gold Coast, Dolly Cakes from Brisbane, Australia, Wednesday, June 3 at Boomer’s Bar. Ten performers from four continents will be on hand to offer burlesque performance in an intimate setting. This is a rare opportunity for burlesque fans to see world-class talent in an intimate venue, and a second chance for those who missed getting tickets to the sold-out Burlesque Hall of Fame Weekend. Tickets for general admission seats and VIP Tables are available via Brown Paper Tickets at Bad2.bpt.me, or by calling Brown Paper Tickets' 24/7 event concierges at 1-800-838-3006.

“The energy level in the room that night will be supercharged,” said “Bruchlesque!” producer Ricardo Montalbum. “It really is a rare treat to be able to have such fantastic overseas talent perform in such a small venue.”

In addition to performances by Aurora Galore and Dolly Cakes, Las Vegas’ Blue Ruin will present a deeply personal routine based around her recent medical issues. Also on the bill will be Brazil's top burlesque performer Sweetie Bird, from Sao Paulo, Brazil; Kitty Kin-Evil from Ottawa, Canada; Jenna Beth of Fort Lauderdale, Fla.; Mercy Histrio from Albuquerque, NM; Audrey Ivory of Montreal, Canada and Drea Dillinger of Los Angeles, Calif.

In addition, to the lineup of international talent, Brunchlesque attendees will be served dessert. Food is a trademark of Ricardo Montalbum's “Brunchlesque!” productions, a self-described “gastro-exoctic burlesque revue” which typically take place on Sunday mornings with attendees enjoying a full brunch menu and drink specials while burlesque performers dance onstage.

Brown Paper Tickets, the preferred ticketing company for the burlesque industry, sells more tickets to burlesque events than any other in North America, including the Burlesque Hall of Fame and “Brunchlesque! After Dark – The Flash Before the Bash.” The Not-Just-For-Profit ticketing company recently co-created the burlesque industry's only award for show production excellence, The Brassy Award. Brown Paper Tickets also established a Burlesque Hall of Fame Fund, which raises money for the Las Vegas-based non-profit museum. The Burlesque Hall of Fame is dedicated to preserving the legacy of burlesque past and present, as well as hosting the world's biggest burlesque event, the Burlesque Hall of Fame Weekend, June 4-7 at The Orleans Casino.

Montalbum said, “Brown Paper Tickets is our ticketing company of choice, because they not only embrace the burlesque community, they support it in many ways, including the newly-instituted Brassy Award. Brown Paper Tickets is worry-free, as they have 24-hour live event concierges, and the lowest ticketing fee in the industry for the highest level of service.”

He is known to wear pajamas at his shows (and around town), and loves naughty limericks. In addition to his signature day time show, he also dabbles in the dark arts (night), with shows such as “Brunchlesque! After Dark” (dessert show), and “Viva Vulgarity.” For more information visit http://www.brunchlesque.com

These are the 20 most bikeable cities in the US America is getting into biking.

New roads, bike lanes, and other biking infrastructure is putting more of the population on two wheels than ever before.

And no where is that more apparent than in these 20 American cities, as rated by RedFin using their Bike Score method.

1. Minneapolis, Minnesota (81.3)

2. San Francisco, California (75.1)

3. Portland, Oregon (72.0)

4. Denver, Colorado (71.3)

5. Boston, Massachusetts (70.3)

6. Chicago, Illinois (70.2)

7. Washington, D.C. (69.5)

8. Sacramento, California (68.9)

9. Tucson, Arizona (67.9)

10. Philadelphia, Pennsylvania(67.5)

11. Long Beach, California (66.4)

12. New York, New York (65.1)

13. Seattle, Washington (63.0)

14. Oakland, California (60.9)

15. Aurora, Colorado (60.8)

16. New Orleans, Louisiana (60.1)

17. Miami, Florida (59.7)

18. Albuquerque, New Mexico (59.6)

19. Mesa, Arizona (58.5)

20. Santa Ana, California (57.1)

They ranked the cities by evaluating cities with more than 300,000 population based on four equally weighted factors: bike infrastructure (bike lanes), geography (hills), city grid layout (destinations and road connectivity), and how many citizens bike to work (the share of local workers’ commutes traveled by bicycle).

Overall, the trend is that biking infrastructure leads to more bicyclists. Most cities on the list have increased in their Bike Score due to an increase in dedicated bike lanes and the population's increased reliance on existing infrastructure.

Aurora, Colo. (PRWEB) May 15, 2015

The hit ABC series “Extreme Weight Loss” returns for Season 5 on Tuesday, May 26, and when it does, viewers will once again see cast members begin their yearlong transformation journeys at the University of Colorado Anschutz Health and Wellness Center. This is the second year the center will be home to each cast member’s three-month boot camp.

“Extreme Weight Loss" is a uinque and riveting, docu-series about weight loss transformations. The show documents the journeys of “super obese” people whose lives have become unmanageable because of their weight. This season, 19 cast members will not only set out to transform their bodies – by losing up to half of their body weight – but they will also courageously transform who they are as individuals.

Transformation specialists and trainers Chris and Heidi Powell return to the program along with Holly Wyatt, MD, who serves as the show’s medical director. Wyatt is the associate director of the CU Anschutz Health and Wellness Center and is affectionately known as “Dr. Holly” by her patients and the show’s cast members.

“Fans of the TV show will be amazed by the obstacles encountered and overcome by our new cast members,” said Wyatt. “We were thrilled to host boot camp again and see the participants return to the center throughout the year. Assisting with these transformations has been a true inspiration.”

The University of Colorado Anschutz Health and Wellness Center offers some of the country’s most advanced research and science-based expertise, focusing on a comprehensive wellness approach including weight loss and management, fitness and nutrition.

Said Executive Producer Matt Assmus, “Our experience working with the CU Anschutz Health and Wellness Center has been absolutely stellar; Holly and the center’s staff provide unrivaled guidance and expertise, and the cast members love the supportive environment. We could not be happier to be back at the center.”

Added Executive Producer JD Roth, “As someone whose work has focused so much on the power of transformation, I am extremely proud of our cast members who have the courage to pursue a better life. This process isn’t an easy one, and they can’t do it alone, which is why having partners like the CU Anschutz Health and Wellness Center plays such a significant role in our participants’ success and their ability to make real, sustainable change.”

For Wyatt, working with the “Extreme Weight Loss” cast members was so impactful that she was inspired to begin the center’s first weight loss destination program. Extreme Weight Loss: Destination Boot Camp starts with an intense six-day boot camp which is designed to give participants the tools they need to complete their own successful transformation—without the TV cameras!

“Extreme Weight Loss” is produced by 3 Ball Entertainment. JD Roth, Todd A. Nelson, Matt Assmus and Brant Pinvidic are the executive producers.

“Aftermath is honored to be featured in an episode of Innovations with Ed Begley, Jr. As the nationwide leader of biohazard remediation, we are excited for the opportunity to bring public awareness to the risks associated with blood and biological spills, as well as the work necessary to mitigate the risks in order to prevent the spread of infectious diseases through proper biohazard remediation,” said Doug Berto, CEO of Aftermath Services.

“For the family affected, dealing with an unattended death and clean up can be grim,” said Chris Brink, Producer for the series. “Aftermath steps in to handle the situation by providing highly trained and caring field technicians who are experienced in all the protocols necessary to return a home or business to a safe and livable condition.”
